Peter specialises in healthcare PPP transactions, leveraging extensive commercial, structuring, and financial expertise developed over 20 years advising both public and private sector entities. His experience encompasses complex PPP frameworks including hub (DBFM), NPD, PPP, PFI, Building Schools for the Future, and Local Infrastructure Finance Trust (LIFT) healthcare projects.
Before joining Tribe, Peter held senior advisory positions at KPMG and Grant Thornton, where he guided clients through sophisticated PPP structures and processes. His expertise covers healthcare infrastructure, capital equipment procurement, and associated service provision, informed by a deep understanding of evolving funding and contractual mechanisms in these sectors.
Peter's core capabilities include commercial negotiation, structuring and calibration of payment mechanisms, risk analysis and mitigation, economic impact assessments, whole-life costing, and detailed financial bid analysis. He consistently provides strategic and financial guidance to internal teams, ensuring robust commercial alignment across projects.
Peter holds a degree in Politics with Finance from Strathclyde University and has passed the Chartered Taxation Adviser (CTA) examinations.
