Justin Chan is a Senior Vice President at Tribewith a focus on financial advisory and transaction execution across the infrastructure and energy sectors.

He brings strong experience in financial modelling, structuring, and debt and equity transactions.

Justin regularly advises sponsors and investors on complex project finance and PPP transactions across Southeast Asia and the Middle East.

OVERVIEW

Justin brings a diverse background in   infrastructure advisory and financial modelling, with extensive experience   supporting complex transactions across Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and   Australia. He has advised on numerous PPP and project finance deals, with a   particular focus on the renewable energy, utilities, and transport sectors.


At Tribe, Justin has played a key role in   the refinancing and equity sale of the Lake Mainit and Bulanog Batang   Hydroelectric Power Projects in the Philippines, as well as supporting the   AUD 400 million East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility in Western   Australia to reach financial close.


Prior to joining Tribe, Justin was part of   the infrastructure team at Macquarie Capital, where he advised on landmark   transport transactions such as the Mactan–Cebu International Airport   Expansion, Cavite–Laguna Expressway, and LRT-1 Cavite Extension. He also   worked in the corporate finance group at FTI Consulting, providing   transaction advisory and asset management services to private sector clients   in the Philippines.


Justin holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree   from the University of Sydney.


Justin is based in Manila.

  • Financial Modeller to an Abu Dhabi-listed property developer for the refinancing and divestment of a 30,000 TR district cooling plant.

  • Financial Advisor and Lead Financial Modeller to TwoFour54, an Abu Dhabi Government entity, for sector strategy and PPP structuring of new campus facilities and business plan.

  • Financial Modeller for the development consortium on the 300,000 tpa East Rockingham Resource Recovery Facility in Perth, Western Australia.

  • Financial Advisor and Lead Financial Modeller for the 25 MW Lake Mainit Hydroelectric Power Project.

  • Financial Advisor to SM Prime, Ayala Land, Aboitiz Equity Ventures, and Megaworld on the USD 2.7 billion Laguna Lakeshore Expressway Dike Project (LLEDP).

  • Financial Advisor to the Ayala–Aboitiz consortium on the USD 800 million Cavite–Laguna Expressway PPP Project.
