Chris Patt serves as Managing Director at Tribe, specializing in project finance, and deal execution.
He has extensive experience advising on conventional power, renewables, water and wastewater and PPP projects, working with bidders, project companies, and procurers across the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
OVERVIEW
Chris has wide experience advising on all sides of infrastructure transactions, having acted in all main capacities: Sponsor, Lender, and Government Advisor. He offers strong debt and equity structuring capabilities, covering end-to-end deal processes such as commercial negotiation, documentation, due diligence, and investment appraisal.
In 2024, Chris established Tribe’s London office presence and is responsible for building out our London based team. He holds responsibility for commercial leadership within the Tribe Advisory team with a focus on risk management and compliance. Chris routinely works with corporates, funds, commercial banks, Export Credit Agencies (ECAs), and Development Finance Institutions (DFIs), and he has cross-product exposure in areas like project bonds, swaps, and other derivatives.
At Engie, AMEA Power, HSBC, and Mizuho, he has pursued projects across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on MENA, in addition to Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa.
Chris is a CFA Charter holder and graduated from the University of Exeter with a BSc in Mathematics and French.
Chris is based in London.
